What is Hydro Jetting?

High-pressured pipe clearing

Hydro jetting is a process that not only effectively and efficiently clears pipe blockages, but also offers the benefit of removing unwanted buildup that can be found inside of your commercial or residential pipes.

The process itself employs a head unit that when inserted into pipes shoots high-pressure water into multiple directions which penetrates tough clogs while removing other potentially damaging materials including but not limited to pipe scaling, grease, debris, tree roots and more.

Benefits of Hydro Jetting

Fast, eco-friendly, economical, safe

In addition to proving a quick and easy solution to simple drain clogs, hydro jetting can also penetrate more substantial blockages. While snaking a drain may free a blockage, hydro jetting will not only address clogs, but can also remove additional debris inside of your pipes. Additional debris could lead to future blockages or degradation of aged pipes creating the need for potentially costly repairs or replacement over time.  Most pipes are buried, found inside of walls or underneath concrete or asphalt. In most cases, hydro jetting can be a very economical solution since the process takes place inside of existing pipes and doesn’t require digging or removal of slabs to access clogged areas.

Hydro jetting is also an eco-friendly solution. Since the process re-uses high-pressure water, it reduces water usage while eliminating the need for abrasive chemicals.

Does my business need hydro jetting?

Yes! If you’ve ever experienced a clogged pipe or drain, you know the importance of restoring service as quickly as possible, and we can do that. However, hydro jetting does not have to be an emergency solution. We can inspect pipes of nearly any size to assess the need for hydro jetting. Don’t forget that grease, sediment and debris can compromise the integrity of your pipes over time. If left unaddressed, these issues can lead to difficult and costly repairs. Contact us to see if a hydro jetting maintenance program makes sense for your needs.

What is Hydro-Excavation?

Safe, high-pressured earth movement

Hydro-excavation is a powerful system that employs high-pressure water and vacuum to excavate dry and wet soil.  Though this water and vacuum can cut through tough soil, roots and even concrete, it does not damage the utilities that are located under the earth.

Unlike traditional excavators that must dig through the earth, remove each section, dispose of elsewhere, at least for the time being, and back, hydro-excavation removes the soil by vacuuming it into the debris body of the truck. Once a job is complete, operators can dump the soil back onto the worksite, or remove from the site for proper disposal.
